Assigning a home exercise program (HEP) to your patients

How to assign a HEP to your patient using a template and how to edit previously assigned HEPs

After you've added your patient to the portal as outlined in this article, you'll need to assign a HEP in order for them to be invited to Exer Health and to begin using the app.

1. From your patient list, find the patient you want to assign an exercise program to and click into their patient detail page.
2. Click on the "+ Assign Home Exercise Program" button.
3. You can either create a new HEP or assign an existing template (with no modifications) as a patient's HEP.

Create a new home exercise program (HEP)

1. Click on the "New HEP" button.

2. You can use one of your templates as a starter for this new HEP. To do so, click on the dropdown and select the template you want to use.
3. >The template will auto-populate and you can make any changes you'd like for this patient. Note: these changes will not change the main template, they will just edit this specific patients HEP.
